North South University (NSU) and Uttaran (IDRC Project) have embarked on a significant journey of academic and research collaboration, solidified by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on August 24, 2023, a press release said Friday.
This strategic partnership between the two institutions holds the promise of mutual growth through joint research endeavors, collaborative publications, internships, training opportunities, and the mobilization of research resources. The agreement was formalized by the Office of External Affairs of NSU.

Representatives from Uttaran (IDRC Project) were also in attendance, underscoring the commitment of both parties to strengthening their relationship and harnessing the potential of this collaboration. Central to this partnership is the ambitious project entitled “Spatial Surge Forecasting Using Artificial Intelligence and Community Knowledge for Inclusive and Transformative Early Actions”. This project underscores the dedication of NSU and Uttaran to addressing critical issues through innovative research that draws on technological advancements and community engagement.
