The Career and Placement Center (CPC) of North South University hosted the Women’s Career Carnival 2023, organized by Heroes for All (HFA) and I-Social, on November 24th and 25th at North South University. a press release said that on Friday.
This career fair celebrated empowering women by providing a platform for networking, learning, and professional development.
The distinguished figures inaugurating the event included Ms. Rehnuma Karim, Founder and President of Heroes for All, Inc., and Dr. Ananya Raihan, Founder and CEO of I-Social, both serving as co-organizers. Dr. Helal Ahammad, Professor and Dean of the School of Business & Economics at North South University, graced the occasion as a Special Guest, along with Mr. Tuomo Poutiainen, Country Director of ILO Bangladesh, offering valuable insights.
Hamida Mosharraf Moniea, a lecturer at North South University and the SBE and CPC Coordinator, took charge of organizing the event, with the NSU HR CLUB as the volunteer partner. The opening ceremony was expertly chaired by Dr. M. Ismail Hossain, Professor of Economics, whose leadership ensured insightful discussions, emphasizing the importance of gender inclusivity and empowerment in today’s workforce.
