SIPG launches two books at NSU

The South Asian Institute of Policy ad Governance (SIPG) has launched two books, ‘Public Financial Management System in Bangladesh: A Review from a Governance Perspective’ by Prof. Salahuddin Aminuzzaman, adviser, SIPG and ‘Insights on Trust, Inclusiveness, and Governance in South Asia’, at North South University (NSU) recently, a press release said Saturday.

Speakers at the launching ceremony emphasized the need for effective public governance and efficient public management for maintaining peace, stability, and prosperity in South Asia. ‘Public governance and public management are two principles of democratic development in promoting social justice and equitable development,’ they observed during a launching event of two books.

The event was chaired by Dr. Ismail Hossain, Pro VC of NSU, Mohammad Muslim Chowdhury, comptroller and auditor general of Bangladesh, Dr. Nomita Halder, MD, Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF), and Dr. Ishtiaq Jamil, professor, University of Bergen, Norway, were also present.
