25 Students of the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management (THM) of Daffodil International University (DIU) has got one year internship placement in China from January 2024 which is a significant achievement of the university. The delegation, led by Md. MishkatulKabir, Lecturer of THM, and Mr. Md. Abdul Alim, Assistant Registrar at DIU, has successfully secured year-long internship placements for 25 DIU students in Sanya, Hainan, China. press release said on Wednesday .
This initiative has paved the way for 25 THM students to gain practical experience in prestigious establishments, such as 16 students at Horizon Resort & SPA, 7 students at Sanya Edition, and 2 students at Hilton SanyaYalong Bay Resort & Spa. The placement of our students in these renowned hotels is a testament to the quality of education at DIU and the confidence the international hospitality sector has in our program.
Further elevating our pride is the commitment from these hotels to consider outstanding DIU interns for permanent positions post-internship. Additionally, these establishments have expressed their eagerness to welcome more DIU students for future internships.
