‘Study in India Expo’ starts  in city

Study in India Expo, one of the most popular education show series in Bangladesh on Indian education is starting on 17 – 18 February at BICC (Bangabandhu International Conference Center) bringing a large delegation of high ranking boarding schools and universities this year.

The two-city expo has registered a significant rise in the number of exhibitors with nearly 30 premier institutions from different parts of India. It signifies the fact that in the past two decades, with regular political exchanges, growing trade and investment, India’s ties with Bangladesh has evolved further into a comprehensive partnership including education.

‘Study in India Expo’ attracts thousands of Bangladeshi parents and students every year because of many obvious reasons. India is not just considered as a friendly neighbouring country but is also perceived as a global destination for education with multicultural environment, world-class infrastructure, the best faculties, advanced research and innovation, global recognized degree, and all comes at an affordable cost.

 “Our exhibition is the perfect platform for parents and students in Bangladesh to connect with the academicians and admissions authorities of the Indian educational institutions directly on a face to face basis,” states, Mr. Sanjeev Bolia, Founder & Managing Director of ‘Afairs Exhibition & Media Pvt. Ltd.’ organisers of the Study in India Expo. He believes that this exhibition is as much a platform of opportunity as it is one for generating awareness about the merits of Indian education.

Geared to help visitors comprised of parents and students to ‘think in terms of global educational options, ‘Study in India Expo’ will exhibit some of the high ranking and well-known residential schools in India like Woodstock School (Mussoorie), Harrow International School (Bengaluru), Assam Valley School (Tezpur), Mussoorie International School, Genesis Global School (Delhi NCR), Oakridge International School (Hyderabad & Vizag), Kings College (Delhi NCR), Kasiga School (Dehradun), KIIT International School (Bhubaneswar), St. Paul’s School (Darjeeling), and Jain International Residential School, Bangalore etc.

These Schools will offer the Indian ‘ICSE’ and ‘CBSE’ curriculums, as well as international curriculums ‘IB – International Baccalaureate’ and Cambridge (IGCSE).
