Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Dhaka Mustafa Osman Turan has visited the Daffodil International University (DIU) on Tuesday, a press release said.
He also joined as chief guest at a special seminar on “Bangladesh-Turkiye Relations: Dimensions and Prospects.”
The seminar was jointly organized by the Department of Development Studies and International Affairs of DIU under the initiative of signature event Ambassador O’clock’.
The agenda of this event was to share multidimensional issues that foster a sense of common ideology and the interest in exploring educational cooperation, culture, economy, and heritage, and more between Bangladesh and Turkey.
Special guests Dr. Jebunnessa, professor and former chairperson, Dept. of Public Administration, Jahangirnagar University, and Dr. Sabbir Ahmed, professor, Dept. of Political Science, University of Dhaka, former general secretary, Asiatic Society of Bangladesh. professor Dr. S.M. Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder, pro VC, DIU spoke on the occasion.
