The Bangladesh-Miyazaki ICT Engineers Educational Training (B-MEET) program’s second batch concluded with a grand closing ceremony held at the B-JET center on May 29th, 2023, a press release said Friday.
The program, a joint initiative between Career and Placement Center (CPC) of North South University(NSU) and the University of Miyazaki (UOM), aims to prepare Bangladeshiuniversity students across all disciplines for successful careers in Bangladesh and Japan.
Professor Dr. Mohammad Khasro Miah, director of the Career and Placement Center (CPC) and the visionary behind the B-JET center, delivered an intriguing speech.
Professor Yasunori Yano, the Sub Project Manager of the B-MEET Program, delivered a captivating speech during the ceremony, highlighting the remarkable achievements of the B-MEET initiative. The presence of corporate grooming expert Ms. Moushumi Biswas and Japanese language teachers Ms. Nanae Yamauchi and Ms. Sina Agnes added to the significance of the event.
Seventeen trainees were honored with certificates for their outstanding performance during the B-MEET second batch. These certificates were awarded based on two criteria: the successful completion of the program and maintaining a perfect attendance record. The certificates serve as a testament to the trainees’ commitment to acquiring the essential skills required to thrive as ICT professionals.
The B-MEET program has successfully established a bridge between Japan and Bangladesh through its collaboration with North South University and the University of Miyazaki. This partnership has opened new avenues for students to pursue their careers in Japanese industries. In addition to North South University students, students from other universities have also received training from the B-JET Center.
