An education Fair held at Daffodil International University on September 10, 2023 aiming to provide information for Bangladeshi students about higher education application process in the United States, a press release said on Monday. The US Embassy in Dhaka organized this fair through its EducationUSA platform in partnership with International Affairs of Daffodil International University at student lounge at DSC Administrative Building. Representative from 10 accredited higher education institution in the US participate with all the information about the admission process.
The fair created a unique opportunity to communicate directly with representatives of colleges and universities of United States. Students learned valuable information about academic programs, campus life, scholarship opportunities, application procedures and application fee waivers.
Director International Affairs Prof. Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain said, many students dream of studying in the universities of United States. That’s why they have come here to learn about us universities.
Over a thousand enthusiastic DIU students gathered on September 10th to interact with representatives from around ten prestigious U.S. universities. The fair explored academic programs, scholarships, and admission opportunities. Amidst this vibrant event, delegates embraced cross-cultural exchanges and networking while enjoying a campus tour of the lush green DIU surroundings.
