Ashraful Hossain Alom alias Hero Alom has regained his candidacy to contest in the 12th national elections from the Bogura-4 constituency.
Kazi Habibul Awal, chief election commissioner, along with other election commissioners delivered the verdict around 3:45 pm, Sunday (10 December) after reviewing his appeal.
Earlier, the returning officer canceled Hero Alam’s candidacy for wrongly filing the nomination paper.
On November 30, Hero Alom confirmed that he filed a nomination paper from the Bangladesh Congress party for the Bogura-4 (Kahalu-Nandigram) constituency.
