Binge wins BFDA award for web film

Celebrated filmmaker Shihab Shaheen’s “Baba Someone Is Following Me”, released on the popular OTT platform Binge, clinched the Bangladesh Film Directors Association (BFDA) Award for Best Web Film of 2023.

In addition to securing the Best Web Film accolade in 2023, “Baba Someone Is Following Me” garnered further acclaim for its multifaceted creator, Shihab Shaheen, who excelled not only as its producer but also as the recipient of awards for Best Storyteller and Best Director within the web film category.

Yesterday evening, the Bangladesh Film Directors Association (BFDA) Awards 2022-23 ceremony unfolded at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in Dhaka. The event’s Chief Guest was Mohammad Ali Arafat, the Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting.

The popular OTT platform Binge premiered “Baba Someone Is Following Me,” a Binge original web film. This cinematic gem will be accessible for free viewing on Binge’s YouTube channel and Facebook page commencing 15th May.
