Evercare Hospital has offered specialized service to Ilizarov patients by experienced doctors for different types of difficult fracture management, a press release said on Sunday. Ilizarov is a medical system of orthopedics science invented in Russia.
Ilizarov treatment is a non-incision procedure. Basically, this technique involves inserting surgical wire from the outside into the fractured bone. Then, using rings, the wires are secured. Through this innovative method, it takes an average of 4-6 months for the bones to join together. However, this operation is particularly convenient for diabetic patients.
