Kidney Foundation Hospital & Research Institute (KFH&RI) and Dhaka Community Medical College Hospital (DCHT) enter into an agreement to establish cooperative relationship, a press release said on Sunday, with regards to various exchange programs, involving medical personnel as a continuing effort for common desire to improve medical service and research capacity of both institutions. The agreement was by signed by Prof. Quazi Quamruzzaman, Chairman, Dhaka Community Hospital Trust and Prof. Harun Ur Rashid, President, Kidney Foundation Hospital and Research Institute.
The purposes of the cooperation are to develop academic exchange and cooperation in teaching, training and research for the advancement and dissemination of learning in nephrology and allied subjects and to enhance the quality of Clinical Nephrology, Dialysis and Transplant services . Kidney Foundation Hospital will establish a Dialysis unit in OPD of Dhaka Community Hospital (DCH). The agreement will remain in effect for an initial period of 5 years. It will be automatically renewed year to year unless any termination notice is issued by either party.
