Bangladesh Private Medical College Association formed a committee with International Medical College and Hospital managing director MA Mubin Khan as its president and Anwer Khan Modern Medical College and Hospital chairman Anwar Hossain Khan as general secretary. The 21-member committee was constituted for the years 2023 and 2024 during the 14th general meeting of BPMCA at the Westin Dhaka in the capital on Sunday, said a press release.
Vice-presidents of the committee are Eastern Medical College chairman Shah Md Salim, Green Life Medical College and Hospital managing director Md Moinul Ahsan, Popular Medical College and Hospital managing director Mostafizur Rahman and Bangladesh Medical College and Hospital director Samsun Nahar.
Other members of the committee are finance secretaries – Tairunnessa Memorial Medical College managing director Md Habibul Haque, Universal Medical College Hospital chairman Preeti Chakraborty, Rangpur Community Medical College and Hospital managing director Md Nazmul Ahsan Sarkar, Gazi Medical College and Hospital chairman Gazi Mizanur Rahman, East West Medical College and Hospital managing director Ulfat Jahan Moon.
Gazipur City Medical College Managing Director Md Rifaitullah Sharif has been elected as organising secretary. Besides, Sirajganj North Bengal Medical College chairman MA Mukit, Rangpur Prime Medical College managing director Mohammad Mostafa Haider, Institute of Applied Health Sciences chairman Ahmed Iftekharul Islam have also been elected as departmental organising secretary.
Rangpur Community Medical College chairman Neelu Ahsan has been elected education, cultural and social welfare secretary and TMSS Medical College Hospital executive director Hosne-ara Begum legal affairs secretary.
Besides, East West Medical College chairman Md Moazzem Hossain, Manikganj Munnu Medical College and Hospital chairman Afroza Khan Rita and Dhaka Central International Medical College and Hospital chairman Md Abdul Hai Chowdhury have been elected executive members.
