Prothoma Prokashon has launched a book titled ‘Muktijuddher Chikishsha Itihas’ on 28 December 2022 at the experimental hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, a press release said Thursday.
The book was authored jointly by fiction writer and medical anthropologist Shahaduz Zaman and public health expert Dr. Khairul Islam.
A number of dignitaries including freedom fighters and medical personnel participated in the ceremony.
Dr. Zafrullah Chowdhury, founder, trustee board member, Gonoshasthaya Kendra; Padma Rahman, Military Nurse, Bangladesh Hospital; Dr. Abul Bashar Mohammed Khurshid Alam, director general of Health Services, editor of Prothom Alo Matiur Rahman and Dr. Kazi Tamanna delivered speeches at the event.
The book will be available at the physical and online stores of Prothoma Prokashon. The price of the book is Tk 650.
