Bid to enter Khaleda’s cabin: Arrested youth sent to jail

A court in Dhaka has directed to send the youth, arrested during trying to enter BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s cabin at Evercare Hospital in the capital, to jail.

After a two-day remand was over, he was produced before the court on Tuersday. Then the investigation officer (IO) pleaded to keep him in jail until the end of the investigation into the incident.

Responding to the plea, Dhaka metropolitan magistrate Farah Deeba directed to send her to jail.

Earlier on Sunday (December 24), police produce him before the court showing arrested under Section 54 of the CrPC. Then police pleaded to place him on a five-day for ‘fair investigation into the case.” Following the hearing, Dhaka metropolitan magistrate Farah Deeba Chanda placed him on a two-day remand.

Before it, Sujan was arrested by police after he tried to enter Khaleda Zia’s cabin at Evercare Hospital on Saturday last (December 23).
