A total of 107 people were detected positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours after testing 2,156 samples in 16 Covid-19 laboratories in the district.
The Covid-19 infection rate in the district is 4.96 percent.
With the diagnosis of 107 new cases, the total number of Covid-19 patients climbed to 1,25,314 in Chattogram district, DrIliasChowdhury, civil surgeon of Chattogram told BSS today.
At the same time, the number of healed Covid-19 patients rose to 1,07,365 with the recovery of 363 more patients during the time in the district.
The average recovery rate currently stands at 86.12 percent in Chattogram city and the district.
The death toll in the district remained steady at 1,360.
A total of 1712 infected patients are now undergoing treatment at different designated hospitals here.
