Three autorickshaw hijackers have been taken into custody by police in Saltha, Faridpur. The arrested individuals were presented in court on Sunday.
At approximately 10 p.m. yesterday, the three were taken into custody while stealing an autorickshaw from the Saltha-Faridpur route in the Member Gotti neighborhood of the upazila’s Gotti Union.
Three people have been arrested: A. Aziz Molya (35), son of Nuruddin Molya of Kamaidiya village of Saltha upazila; Rakibul (23), son of Ahad Ali of Royer Char village of Sonapur union of the same upazila; and Biplob Ali (35), son of Yakub Ali of Joypur Uttar village of Belpukur upazila of Rajshahi.
Locals from the Member Gotti area assisted in the arrest of three hijackers, according to Md. Ataur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Saltha Police Station. during last night’s autorickshaw hijacking. The arrested were taken to the Baj Faridpur court after legal action was taken against them.
