4 boat candidates in four seats at ease in Chattogram

Out of the 16 seats in Chattogram, there are four candidates of boats in four seats. Because, they are not competing with anyone in the party. Boat candidates are ahead in popularity than those of other parties who are electing in these seats. These four constituencies are Chittagong-6 (Raujan), Chittagong-7 (Rangunia), Chittagong-9 (Kotwali-Baklia) and Chittagong-13 (Anowara).

Chittagong-6 (Raujan): Awami League MP ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury has won this seat for four consecutive terms. He is competing with Sam Jafar Ullah (Islamic Front Bangladesh), Md. Yahya Zia Chowdhury (Trinamool BNP) and Md. Safiq-ul Alam Chowdhury. Local leaders and workers are looking at the possibility of Fazle Karim Chowdhury’s victory due to extensive development in the area.

Chittagong-7 (Rangunia): Awami League candidate for three consecutive MP Information Minister. Ahmed Reza (Islamic Front Bangladesh), Mucha Ahmed Orswe (National Party), Muhammad Iqbal Hashan (Bangladesh Islamic Front), Md. will compete in this seat with Hasan Mahmud. Morshed Alam (Bangladesh Supreme Party) and Khorshed Alam (Trinamool BNP). Due to lack of strong candidates and development in the area. Hasan Mahmud will once again recite the garland of victory to Asha leaders and workers.

Chittagong-9 (Kotwali-Baklia): Awami League’s candidate for this seat is current MP and Deputy Education Minister Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Naufel. Muhammad Waheed Murad (Islamic Front Bangladesh), Mitul Das Gupta (NAP), Sujit Sarkar (Trinamool BNP), Md. Nurul Hussain (Bangladesh Welfare Party), Sanjid Rashid Chowdhury (National Party), Abu Azam (Bangladesh Islamic Front) and Md. Ferdaus Bashir (Trinamool BNP).Naufel, son of former mayor late Mohiuddin Chowdhury, is popular in the constituency. Supporters are looking at the possibility of his victory this time too.

Chittagong-13 (Anwara): Syed Mohammad Hamed Hossain (Islamic Front Bangladesh), Abdur Rob Chowdhury (National Party), Maqbool Ahmed Chowdhury (Trinamool BNP), Md. Arif Moinuddin(Bangladesh Supreme Party), Maulvi Rashidul Haque (Bangladesh Khilafat Movement) and Md. Abul Hossain (Bangladesh Islami Front). Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury Babu’s son Jabed is a clean image candidate. Voters think that the seat will be his again this time.
