A delegation of the Daffodil International University (DIU) comprising of five academic and admin staff attended the “International Week-2022” at the Powiślanski University in Poland from 24 to 28 May, 2022, a press release said Satutday.
The visit was under the prestigious Fully Funded Erasmus+ Staff Exchange Grant from the European Union. About 60 university participants from over 35 countries joined the program.
As a Part of the Program, DIU team delivered lectures, presented the university and Bangladesh’s culture, attended seminars and cross-cultural activities, continued research discussion, visited Gdańsk, nearby cities, explored Polish culture, etc.
The DIU team met Powiślanski University’s Vice-Rector for Development and Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Katarzyna Strzała-Osuch and Erasmus+ Programme Coordinator of International Office, Paulina Osuch and handed over a token of appreciation along with future collaboration meetings.
The DIU delegation comprises with Siddiqur Rahman, Associate Head, BBA Department, Dr. Sharif Sultana, Associate Head, Pharmacy Department, Mohammad Kamruzzaman, Head, Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Sunjda Khan, Assistant Professor, BBA Department and Md. Nazmul Islam, Administrative Officer of the university.
