Six newly promoted officers of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Forces were given the rank badge of Deputy Director General by the Director General of the Force, Major General AKM Aminul Haque, NDC, AFWC, PSC, Ph.D. Their rank badge wearing ceremony was held at Bangladesh Ansar and VDP Academy, Safipur, Gazipur Tuesday, November 07, at 10:00 am.
At this time, Additional Director General Brigadier General Khondkar Farid Hasan, BGBM, PBGM (Bar), BAM, NDC, Deputy Director Generals, Directors and other senior officers of the force and members of Ansar Battalion were present.
Promoted officers join Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Forces as Assistant Directors through 18th and 21st BCS. After being promoted as Deputy Director and Director, he completed his career satisfactorily on November 6, 2023 AD. On date 06 officers were promoted from the post of Director to the post of Deputy Director General.
The promoted deputy directors are Mohammad Abdul Awal (18th batch), Md. Rafiqul Islam (18th batch), Md. Fakhrul Alam (21st batch), Dr. Md Saifur Rahman (21st batch), Md Ashraful Alam (21st batch) and Md Ziaul Hasan (21st batch).
The Director General of the Army felicitated them with flowers and cut the cake with them.
