7th Bangladesh Marketing Day celebrated

The 7th Bangladesh Marketing Day, organized by the Marketers Institute Bangladesh (MIB), took place on Friday at the International Mother Language Institute in Segunbagicha, Dhaka.

This year’s theme for the 7th Bangladesh Marketing Day was “Marketing Wellbeing,” which was observed nationwide.

Marketers Institute Bangladesh (MIB) was established nearly seven years ago and serves as the voice for more than 5 million people involved in the marketing profession across the country. The institute acts as a platform for these professionals. Every year in October, Bangladesh Marketing Day is celebrated.

Earlier, on 17th October, various programs were held to mark the occasion. Marketing professionals working in different organizations across the country celebrated by cutting cakes in their offices. Many big organizations in Bangladesh organized special events to commemorate this day.

The celebration featured day-long events involving top corporate houses of Bangladesh, public and private university professors, researchers, students, bank officials, marketing executives, and sales personnel. The day became a unifying occasion, turning every place into a grand gathering.

The event featured esteemed guests, including SK Bashir Uddin, Managing Director of AkijBashir Group, who served as the guest of honor. Professor Dr. Syed Farhad Anwar, Vice-Chancellor of BRAC University, gave an opening speech, while Dr. Shariful Dulu, Secretary of the Marketers Institute Bangladesh, and Syed Alamgir, Vice-President of the institute, also spoke.

Marketers Institute Bangladesh aims to unite over 5 million sales and marketing professionals from both national and international backgrounds, focusing on professional development and maximizing consumer satisfaction.
