Two, including a minor boy, were killed when a passenger bus ran over them in Langolkhali area on the Bhola-Charfashion regional highway Sunday morning.
The deceased were identified as M Hasnain, 7, son of Bhuttu hailed from ward no-5 of Lalmohan municipal area and M Jabbar, 55, a resident of ward no-7 of the same area.
The accident took place in the area around 11am when a Bhola-bound bus hit two pedestrians as its driver lost control over the steering, leaving the duo injured, said M Babul Akhter, additional police super of Bhola.
The injured were sent to CharfashionUpazila Health Complex where the on-duty doctor declared them dead.
Police seized the bus but its driver managed to flee away.
