Anjan Chowdhury of Square Air Limited and Mofizur Rahman, Managing Director of NOVOAIR Limited have been elected as the President and Secretary General of the Aviation Operators Association of Bangladesh (AOAB), a press release said Sunday.
The election was held at the 12th Annual General Meeting of the AOAB held on 22 February, 2025, at the Samson Center.
The other members of the committee include Mostafa Kamal, Chairman of Meghna Aviation Limited as Vice President-1, Abdullah Al Mamun, Chairman of US Bangla Airlines Limited as Vice President-2, Z Mahmud Mamun, Managing Director of Impress Aviation Limited as Treasurer, Abdullah Al Zahir Shapan of Blue Flying Academy Limited as Joint Secretary, Raquibul Kabir of Bangla International Airlines Limited as Organizing Secretary, Mohammad Arifur Rahman of Sky Capital Airlines Limited as Publication Secretary and Khandaker AFM Mohibullah, Managing Director of South Asian Airlines Limited, Safwan Sobhan, Managing Director of Bashundhara Airways Limited, Parvez Rahman, Managing Director of BRB Air Limited, Mohammad Yunus, Chairman of Galaxy Flying Academy Limited as members.
The meeting chaired by Anjan Chowdhury was attended by Mofizur Rahman, Z. Mahmud Mamun, and Khandaker AFM Mohibullah. Also present were ASM Mustafizul Haque, Chief Operating Officer of Bashundhara Airways, JM Mostafizur Rahman, Chief Executive Officer of Sky Capital Airlines, Gulzar Hossain, Chief Operating Officer of Beximco Aviation and many other reputed personnel.
