Bajitpur Upazila Reporters Club declares new committee 

Bajitpur Upazila Reporters Club, an association of print and electronic media reporters working in Bajitpur, has formed a 14-member executive committee dissolving the previous one.

Mohammad Khalilur Rahman, a journalist of the Daily Ajker Potrika, has been made the president while Sabbir Ahmed Manik, a correspondent of the Daily Dinkal, has been reselected as the general secretary of the new committee for the tenure of two year — 2025 and 2026.

The announcement came at the temporary office of the Upazila Reporters Club in Sararchar on Sunday.

Other members of the committee are — Senior Vice President Hossain Mahbub Kamal (Daily Manab Zamin), Vice President Abul Hossain (News 21 TV), Vice President Md Faruk Mia (Daily Amar Kagoj), Joint General Secretary Nuruzzaman Ashraf (Daily Astha), Deputy General Secretary Md Khasru Mia (Daily Amar Sangbad and Bangla TV), Organizing Secretary Md Al-Amin (Asian TV), Treasurer Md Abdus Salim (Daily Ajker Prabhat), Office Secretary Razzakunnahar Sumi (Daily Orthadrishti), Publicity Secretary Ifranul Haque Setu (Bangladesh Time), Honorary Member Sheikh Md Jasim Uddin (now defunct Daily Bhorer Kagoj), Honorary Member Muhammad Badrul Alam (Bajitpur Samachar), and Honorary Member Abdur Rahman Bhuiyan (Ekushey TV).
