Bangladesh reported 36 more deaths from Coronavirus or Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, taking the total death count to 12,284.
The fatality rate was 1.56% during this period, according to the data provided by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Meanwhile, 1,457 more people were infected with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, which took the case cout to 7,85,194.
In the preceding 24 hours, the positivity rate was recorded at 7.50% after testing 19,437 samples in 482 labs across the country.
