Mohd. Safwan Choudhury has been re-elected as Vice Chairman of Bank Asia Ltd. at the 453nd meeting of the Board of Directors of the Bank held recently.
This former President of Sylhet Chamber of Commerce & Industry Mr. Mohd Safwan Choudhury is an eminent industrialist of the country. Mr. Choudhury is also working as the Managing Director of M. Ahmed Tea & Lands Co. Ltd, Phulbari Tea Estates Ltd., M. Ahmed Cold Storage Ltd, Premier Dyeing & Calendering Ltd., M. Ahmed Real Estates Ltd. and M. Ahmed Food & Spices Ltd.
He is the Chairman of FIVDB, an NGO providing primary education to the under privileged children. Previously, Mr. Choudhury served as the Chairman of Bangladesh Tea Association.
