Bengal Commercial Bank PLC (BGCB) organized its “Annual Risk Conference 2024” with pledge to ensure robust risk management, regulatory compliance and to raise awareness on risk management. The Conference was held recently at the bank’s head office in Gulshan, Dhaka. Tarik Morshed, Managing Director and CEO of the Bank, reiterated the Bank’s commitment to build a strong risk management culture at all levels of the Bank’s activities. A.N.M. Moinul Kabir, Director of the Department of Off-site Supervision (Division-2) of Bangladesh Bank, Mohammad Arif Hasan and Robin Chandra Paul, Joint Director and Deputy Director respectively of the same Department, were present in the conference as the resource persons. K. M. Awlad Hossain, Additional Managing Director of Bengal Commercial Bank; Md Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Managing Director; Md. Humayun Kabir, FCS, Company Secretary and Pronab Kumar Roy, Chief Risk Officer were also present in the conference while all Divisional Heads and Branch Managers of the Bank took part in the conference.
