Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) President Faruque Hassan has expressed deep sorrow at the demise of Pacific Jeans Chairman Md Nasir Uddin.
Nasir passed away Monday at a hospital in Bangkok after suffering from acute illness for a long time.
“We are grieved by the passing of one of the pioneers in our industry, a person who was dear to all of us – our mentor, an icon of vision, innovation and changes, a loved and respected personality,” Faruque said.
“We are working to arrange a special flight to bring the body to pay respect to him. Please pray for the departed soul,” he added.
