bKash provides financial assistance to Chief Adviser’s Relief Fund

Mobile financial service provider Bikash has donated Tk 50 lakh to the Chief Advisor’s relief and welfare fund formed to help the flood victims, a press release said on Sunday. Bikash has given this donation to the chief adviser’s fund to stand by the people suffering from floods in different districts of the country.

Also, the Development Officers have already donated their one day salary separately to the Chief Adviser’s Relief and Welfare Fund.

In the meantime, Bikash customers from different parts of the country can click on the donation icon on the Bikash app to donate to Chief Adviser’s Relief and Welfare Fund, Bangladesh Army Relief Fund, Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, Armed Forces Department Relief Fund, BRAC, Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, Bangladesh Navy (BNFWA Donation Fund). ), Bangladesh Air Force Welfare Trust, As-Sunnah Foundation, Abhiyatrik Foundation, Anjuman Mufidul Islam, Mastul Foundation, Prothom Alo Trust have been donating to various charitable and voluntary organizations.

In addition to the rescue of flood-affected people, there is a need for emergency food, clean drinking water, medicines and other life-saving materials. After the flood waters recede, various health risks including water-borne infectious diseases appear in the affected areas. In such a situation, various charities and voluntary organizations engaged in relief work including the government have called upon everyone to donate according to their ability.
