Awami League (AL) Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif today said BNP-Jamaat launched destructive activities in the country using students as shield.
“BNP-Jamaat targeted on isolating Dhaka city from rest of the country snapping communication networks,” he told a discussion on “Terrorism, Anarchy and Current Political Perspective” at the Jatiya Press Club here.
Gouraber Ekattar, a social organization, organised the discussion with its President SM Monirul Islam Monir in the chair.
Whip of the Jatiya Sangsad and Member of Central Committee of Awami League Sanjida Khanam, Vice Chancellor of National University Dr Mashiur Rahman, Relief and Social Welfare Secretary of Awami League Aminul Islam Amin, JPC President Farida Yasmin, MP and its General Secretary Shyamal Dutta, among others, addressed the discussion.
Hanif said BNP leader Tarique Rahman led BNP-Jamaat for killing people and carrying out destructive activities across the country.
They (BNP-Jamaat) are carrying out their terror activities for achieving ill political motive, although the government has fulfilled all the demands of students.
