BRAC Bank Ltd. has been awarded with the prestigious ‘The Asian Banker Transaction Finance Award 2022’ in two categories – ‘The Best Transaction Bank’ and ‘The Best Cash Management Bank’ in Bangladesh, a press release said Wednesday.
The Asian Banker Transaction Finance Award is one of the most prestigious annual awards recognizing leadership in cash management, trade finance, supply chain finance and payments amongst domestic and international financial institutions in the Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa.
The Transaction Finance Awards 2022 was formally announced through a virtual award presentation ceremony on July 27, 2022, in the presence of Foo Boon Ping, President and Managing Editor, The Asian Banker.
Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Corporate Banking of BRAC Bank, received the award in a virtual programme.
In the award citation, The Asian Banker states about BRAC Bank’s dynamic and world-class cash management and transaction banking architecture, particularly for its client-centric cash management solutions, trade products, digitization of transactions and maximum API connectivity with key service providers.
On winning the accolade, Selim R. F.
