The 5-day Admission Fair for the Spring Semester at Bangladesh University began Sunday. The fair was officially inaugurated by Professor Dr. Md. Jahangir Alam, the Acting Vice Chancellor of Bangladesh University, at the university’s permanent campus in Adabar, Mohammadpur.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by several notable figures, including Professor Dr. Md. Tajul Islam, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics, Professor Md. Humayun Kabir, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Social Science and Law, along with department heads, section heads, and a large number of students, faculty, staff, and university officials.
This year’s admission fair provides prospective students with the opportunity to gather detailed information about the university’s programs and explore its facilities in person. Additionally, students will be able to engage in direct discussions with experienced and senior professors to obtain essential guidance on higher education and various academic subjects.
During the fair, students seeking admission to different departments for the Spring Semester will also benefit from course fee waivers based on their SSC and HSC results. Waivers range from 20% to 100%, along with an additional discount of 5,000 to 10,000 taka available at the fair. The fair is open daily from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and will run until Thursday, December 26.
