Bus set on fire in Shahbagh

Miscreants set a bus of ‘Taranga Paribahan’ on fire in Shahbagh area of the capital Dhaka on Thursday afternoon.

The incident took place in front of Aziz Super Market around 1:35 pm, said duty officer Rozina Akter at Fire Service and Civil Defence.

However, no casualties were reported in the incident, she said.

According to Fire Service and Civil Defence, 12 vehicles were torched between Wednesday 6 am to Thursday 6 am during the 10th phase blockade of road, rail, and waterways enforced by BNP and like-minded parties which is underway.
