Police recovered the hanging bodies of a husband and his wife in Jashore’ Benapole on Friday.
Their bodies were recovered early in the morning from Bahadurpur village under Benapole Port Police Station in Sharsha upazila in the district.
The deceased were Yamin, 28, and his wife Tanu,24, residents of Bahadurpur village.
According to police and locals, the couple rented a house about one week ago. Earlier, they lived in Pulerhat area in Jashore. Neighbors spotted the bodies of the two hanging from the ceiling of the house with a same rope and informed police.
Being informed, police recovered the bodies and sent those to morgue for autopsy.
Benapole Port Police Station officer-in-charge Suman Bhakta confirmed it.
