Bangladesh on Tuesday reported 91 more deaths from Covid-19b while 4,559 new cases in the last 24 hours till 8 am.
The total death count now stands at 10,588, and the number of infections has reached at 7,27,780 across the country so far.
This data was released in a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Tuesday (April 20).
The infection rate dropped to 16.85 percent from 17.68 percent on Monday, the handout said.
Earlier on Monday, the country broke all previous records of Covid-19 related deaths registering highest 112 fatalities in a single day count.
Bangladesh reported its first coronavirus cases on March 8, 2020, while the first death on March 18 that year.
