Covid-19 has claimed 32 more lives in Bangladesh in last 24 hours until Monday morning, raising the number of fatalities to 12,181.
Besides, the health authorities also found 698 more people were found infected with the virus over the same period.
With the latest data, the total number of diagnosed cases in the country climbed to 780,857, according to the handout released by the Directorate General of Health Services(DGHS) .
The mortality rate now stands 1.56 per cent while the rate of positivity is 6.75 per cent, the handout said.
Meanwhile, the total number of recoveries rose to 7,23,094 with 1,058 patients getting cured of the disease in 24 hours taking the rate of recoveries to 92.60 per cent.
