Customs intelligence arrested a man along with seven gold bars and 100 grams of gold jewelry at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram on Thursday.
An official of the Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation acknowledging the matter on Thursday said the gold were recovered from a passenger from Dubai.
He said the market value of the recovered gold is around Tk 1 crore. Legal action in this regard in underway.
