CSERF awards 5 Police women fighters in Covid-19

Center for Social and Environmental Research Foundation (CSERF) has awarded 5 front liner Police women fighters of Bangladesh Police who played a significant role during the Covid-19 outbreak.

Many police personnel have sacrificed their lives to carry out their duties in the Covid-19 situation. CSERF recognizes their important contributions with great respect.

As part of the recognition CSARF honored 5 of these struggling female members of Bangladesh Police with the “Winner Honors Award-2022″ for their tireless work in a program recently held at Avenue Garden Convention center, Mirpur in the capital.

Lt Col (Rtd.) U Kan Thin, Secretary Mirpur Dohs Council was present as the chief guest while Badol Chowdhury, Founder and President of Podokkhep Bangladeh was present as the special guest. The Program was presided over by Sabina Siddique, CSERF Executive Director while Prokash Chandra Das moderated the program.

Bijoyeeni 2022 Award winners are SI AklimaAkter, SI Salma Akter, ASI Shahnaj Parvin, Constable Mosammat Maksuda Akter and Constable MosammatYeasmin of Pallabi Thana of Bangladesh Police. 

CSERF Executive Director Sabina Siddique said, “We are organizing this small event today to pay homage to these great people around us.” CSERF has taken the initiative of standing behind the victimized families of COVID 19 and we have invited very few eminent police personnel here and we are awarding this “Winner’s Award-2022” in recognition of their tireless sacrifice and hard work.
