2 day long (17-18 September 2023) “Daffodil Education Expo 2023” began Sunday at Daffodil Plaza in Dhanmondi of the capital under the initiative of Daffodil Education Network, a press release said on Sunday. With 29 educational institutions of the daffodil family, this event expo is being organized with the entire spectrum of education from playgroup to post-graduate under one roof.
Safiul Islam Mohiuddin, MP inaugurated the fair as the chief guest Sunday on September 17 at 12 noon at Daffodil Plaza at Dhanmondi in the capital Sarwat Reza, Director (Business Development of British Council Bangladesh was present as the special guest.. The function was also addressed by Dr. Nadir Bin Ali, Registrar, Hamidul Haque Khan, Director (Finance & Accounts) of Daffodil International University, Professor Dr. Md. Shakahwat Hossain, Principal, Daffodil Institute of IT, Dr. Md. Mahmudul Hasan, Principal, Daffodil International School, Rathindranath Das, Executive Director, DIPTI and K M Parve4z Boby, Director, Daffodil Polytechnic Institute.
Addressing as the chief guest Safiul Islam Mohiuddin, MP said that today’s Digital Bangladesh will be transformed into the Smart Bangladesh of Prime Minister’s cherished dream by the hands of students of new generation and students will be the backbone of this work. So students need to be trained in modern IT education and skilled manpower in both
Software and hardware industry to keep pace with the advancing world. So government has been giving equal importance to hardware industry along with software. He urged the students to get out of the mentality of getting or doing government jobs and inspired to become entrepreneurs or innovators in this country with a large population.
