Bangladesh on Saturday reported 60 more Covid-19 deaths, pushing the number of total fatalities to 11,510.
However, the country today confirmed a 48-day low of new cases as 1,452 people were diagnosed with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours ending at 8am Saturday.
The overall infection toll has reached 760,584 with the new cases and the infection rate fell to 9.61% from Friday’s 10.34%.
However, the fatality rate remained static at 1.51%, said the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) in a press release.
