Dengue prevention meeting held in Nilphamari

An awareness meeting on dengue prevention was held in Nilphamari at the Deputy Commissioner’s meeting room.

The meeting held on Monday afternoon was presided over by the new Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Nairuzzaman.

It was informed in the meeting that 47 people have been treated for dengue so far in Nilphmari district.

Among them, 41 have recovered and returned home. Now 6 people are receiving treatment in the hospital. Public awareness activities should be increased to keep houses, flower tubs and various furniture clean to prevent dengue. New Police Superintendent Morshed Alam, Civil Surgeon Dr. Hasibur Rahman and other department officials were present.

Before this, the monthly meeting of the District Law and Order Committee was held in the meeting room of the District Commissioner’s office. It was presided over by District Magistrate Mohammad Nairuzzaman. Superintendent of Police Mohammad Morshed Alam, Additional District Magistrate Saidul Islam, Civil Surgeon Dr. Hasibur Rahman and other department officials were present.

There was a lot of discussion about the law and order in the district so that the Sanatan Dharmabalis could celebrate the festival without any hindrance during the upcoming Sharadiya Durga festival.
