Tourism and Hospitality Management Department of Daffodil International University (DIU) has celebrated its 8th Anniversary today on October 9, 2021 with colorful events including cake cutting, discussion meeting and cultural program at knowledge premises of the university at Ashulia.
Professor Dr. S M MahbubUlHaqueMajumder, Pro Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University was present as the chief guest at the program, a press reelase said.

Professor Dr. S M MahbubUlHaqueMajumder said that tourism career is now open globally. So that DIU is always committed to make their students as internationally competent and skilled. Terming tourism and hospitality management as a thrust sector, he emphasized on communication skills and urged the students to learn Malay, China and Japanese language beside English and also to be equipped with modern communication technology.
