DIU holds workshop on concepts to concepts clinic, marketing

Daffodil International University (DIU) organized a day long workshop on “Concepts to clinic/marketing of scope of IP, Challenges and opportunity” on March 26, 2022 at the Daffodil Smart City, a press release said Friday.

Prof. Dr. Azam Ali, Director of the Center for Bioengineering and Nanomedicine at the University of Otago, New Zealand conducted the workshop. Prof. Dr. Lutfar Rahman, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. S M Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder,Pro Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Md. Fokhre Hossain, Director of International Affairs, Prof. A M M Hamidur Rahman, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and other directors and heads of different departments, teachers were also present.

The workshop was hosted by Daffodil Legal Research Center in collaboration with International Affairs.

Dr. Azam Ali said, “In the case of universities, we usually pay more attention to research papers, which is very normal. However, it is time for us to focus on patent work, even if it means contributing to our own country’s economy.”

DIU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Lutfar Rahman said, “Such workshops are very important for our organization. Daffodil International University has been working on patents and accessories for a long time.”
