Daffodil International University (DIU) has organized a Tree Plantation Program on Thursday to mark the World Environment Day, said a press release.
Rovers of DIU Air Rover Scout Group planted 20 fruit saplings on the campus premises of Daffodil International University at Daffodil Smart City in Ashulia.
Professor Dr. SM Mahbub-Ul-Haq Majumder, Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Engineer AKM Fazlul Haque, Registrar, Ishaq Mizi, Deputy Registrar, Kazi Md. Diljeb Kabir, Senior Assistant Director, Farhana Rahman, Assistant Director of DIU and a large number of Rovers were present at the program.
The Air Rover Scout Group of Daffodil International University regularly conducts various social awareness programs such as traffic law enforcement, blood donation, flood relief, winter cloths distribution, etc. Tree planting program is such a program.
