Wood badge is like a PhD degree in scouting. After completing the specified activities of the five-tier training scheme and scouting, Wood badge was sanctioned by the National Headquarters of Bangladesh Scouts upon application through the appropriate authorities. By achieving Wood badge, a Scouter qualifies to participate in almost all of Scouting’s national and international training and programs as a trainer.
Nazmul said “This is one of my greatest achievements as a scout leader. I want to work for the welfare of the country and the nation by embracing the motto and self-esteem of the scout movement. I am grateful to those who have directly and indirectly assisted me in obtaining the Wood badge. I will always try to keep myself engaged in fulfilling the goals and objectives of the Scouts.”
