Dr. Md. Sabur Khan joins keynote speaker at the `World Rector’s Forum’

In developing the national innovation ecosystems, the higher education institution can take a lead role and considering the fact with highest priority the global Education Leaders has joined in a very important conference of the World Rectors Forum in Bishkek Kyrgyzstan. The chairman of the board of trustees at Daffodil International University of Bangladesh, Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, has joined the conference on an invitation by the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyz Republic to present the keynote speech in a session and represent Bangladesh. The conference is held from September 14-15, 2022 based on the theme “The Role of Universities in Building a National Innovation Ecosystem”.

As part of the development of cooperation in the field of education and science, the conference is being organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic. The President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr. Sadyr Japarov will be present as the chief guest of the event and the Minister of Education and Science, Mr. Almazbek Beishenaliev were present as the host.

A leading figure in the ICT and education sector as well as entrepreneurial development shaper of Bangladesh, Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, along with 16 more educational leaders and academicians from different countries of the world participated as speakers in this conference. He will present his keynote address on ‘Entrepreneurship Development in Higher Education’.

The forum seeks to accelerate the research and innovation activities of the world’s universities through international practices. Besides, the discussion meeting of this conference will focus on the scientific and technological use at the university level. At the same time, the discussion on the training of students as well as teachers and office staff will also take place in this meeting to increase the technical skills in the universities. Besides, the forum will facilitate partnerships between local universities and international partners through their schools of sciences, will contribute to increasing the market share of research and educational services, and will improve the competitiveness of intellectual activity outcomes.

The forum will also work towards as an international standard platform for creating creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship through best practices among the members of the ‘World Rector’s Forum’.
