A special delegation from Dhaka University Entrepreneurship Development Club visited Daffodil International University’s Green Campus and the University’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Department Lab as part of its educational activities today on March 22, 2022.
As the only university in the country, Daffodil International University has introduced the Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship for the future entrepreneurs of the country.During the day-long study tour, the delegation exchanged views between the students of the two universities, exchanged economic ideas and discussed lifelong learning with the teachers.
After exchanging views with the students of Daffodil International University’s Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the guests visited the University’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Lab. The guests were highly appreciated the activities of the Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the university. as the only university in Bangladesh.Dr. Rafiuddin Ahmed,Assistant Professor of Marketing Department ofDhaka University led this study tour. Prof. Dr. Masum Iqbal, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship of DIU, Mr.KamruzzamanDidar, Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and academicians were present at the official function.
During the formal introductory session with the students, Dr. Rafiuddin Ahmed said, “We have to break the tradition of traditional education activities. We need to focus on building students as entrepreneurs, not jobs seekers.”
Executive director of Bangladesh Skill Development Institutions, K.M. Hasan Ripon directed the students of the two universities to have saving habits and use their soft skills for the purpose of “Global Money Week-2022”
