On the occasion of the great Victory Day, more than a hundred students and teachers of Eastern University participated in paying tribute to the National Memorial. On this historic day, the university paid tribute to the martyrs of the Liberation War of Bangladesh.
At the rally at the National Memorial, students and teachers of the university paid tribute to the martyrs with flowers and observed a minute of silence. Deep respect was paid to the sacrifices of the brave fighters of the Liberation War, remembering their contribution and taking the country forward on the path of liberation.
The victory rally was attended by many, including the university’s proctor, dean, teachers and students of various departments.
The university administration said that this Victory Day program will further inform our new generation about the history of the Liberation War and the contribution of martyrs to the nation, and their duty and love for the country.
