Eastern Bank PLC. (EBL) has partnered with Bangladesh Eye Trust Hospital (BETH) to facilitate critical eye care services, including free cataract surgeries, for those in need across the country.
EBL contributes Tk 40 lac under its CSR initiative.
Ahmed Shaheen, Additional Managing Director of EBL, handed over the cheque to Dr. Niaz Abdur Rahman, Managing Director of Bangladesh Eye Hospital and Institute at a ceremony held at the bank’s head office Thursday.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Mahziba Rahman Chowdhury, Executive Director; Dr. Mehraj Rahman Chowdhury, Consultant; Md Kamrul Islam Shanzeed, General Manager of Bangladesh Eye Trust Hospital; and Ziaul Karim, Head of Communications and External Affairs; Maj Md.
