A Gaibandha court sent former MP from Gaibandha-2 constituency Mahbub Ara Begum Gini to jail after rejecting hes bail petition.
Gaibandha’s Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Md Abdul Matin passed the order after hearing a petition for a 10 day remand.
Rejecting the remand and bail prayers, the court sent the former lawmaker to jail in a case filed over the vandalism and arson at the party office of the BNP.
Earlier on September 30, detectives arrested her from a residence in Dhaka’s Dhanmondi area.
